Starting in the Goulburn Valley League, where Echuca faces Shepparton Swans on Saturday at Echuca South Recreation Reserve, the football side eyeing three straight wins at 2pm, while the Murray Bombers aim for five straight in A-grade netball at 2.15pm.
In the Murray league, Moama takes on Numurkah at Moama Recreation Reserve on Saturday, with both Magpies sides looking to extend winning streaks, as senior football starts at 2pm and A-grade netball from 1.30pm.
Echuca United has two contrasting clashes against Congupna on Saturday at Congupna Recreation Reserve, the Eagles up against the league leader in football at 2pm, while the netballers have a winnable match-up at 1.30pm against the bottom-placed side.
Tongala hosts Finley at Tongala Recreation Reserve on Saturday, the Blues the favourite in the football and netball matches, the former beginning at 2pm and the latter at 1.30pm.
To the Heathcote District Football Netball League, where Lockington-Bamawm United is up against North Bendigo at North Bendigo Oval on Saturday, the football clash at 2.20pm between finals contenders, while the Cats seek consecutive wins in A-grade netball at 2.30pm.

Leitchville-Gunbower is facing Mount Pleasant at Toolleen Recreation Reserve on Saturday, the Bombers eyeing four straight wins in senior football at 2.20pm, while they have a tough test against the second-placed Mounts in netball at 2.30pm.
Finally, to Picola District Football Netball League, where Picola United’s football outfit will be the underdog against first-placed Waaia at 2.05pm, the Blues expected to compete in A-grade netball at 1.30pm, at Waaia Recreation Reserve on Saturday.
Elsewhere, Mathoura faces Katandra on Saturday, both Timbercutters sides looking for upsets at Mathoura Recreation Reserve, with senior football beginning at 2.05pm and A-grade netball from 1.30pm.
All-abilities football
The full round three slate of the 2026 Football Integration Development Association northern conference will take place at Echuca South Recreation Reserve this Sunday, with a total of nine games on offer.
Echuca-Moama Rockets will play three matches, against GV Stars at 10am, North Albury Hoppers at 11.30am and Wangaratta Merriwa Magpies at 1pm.
Soccer
Both Echuca Moama Border Raiders teams return to the pitch this weekend, with the men up against Deniliquin Wanderers on Saturday at Jack Eddy Oval, looking to cement their spot at the top of the Greater Bendigo League 2 ladder.
The women play just before at 1pm against Spring Gully United, looking to build on a 5-0 win last time out and keep pace with the two sides above them on the table.
Both fixtures will feature as part of the club’s third annual Ladies Day, beginning at 10am with markets, while live music, a marquee and a bar and food will also be on offer during the event.

Women’s football
Moama’s youth girls have a bye this weekend and won’t be in action, though its women’s side takes on Rumbalara at Mercury Drive, Shepparton on Sunday at 2pm, the Magpies seeking a sixth straight win.
In the under-18 girls Central Victoria Football League, Echuca United travels on Sunday to face Woorinen at Woorinen Recreation Reserve, the Eagles looking to bounce back from a heavy loss to Sandhurst last time out.
Hockey
Goulburn Valley Hockey Association action returns this weekend, with all four Echuca Moama Hockey Club sides playing at Echuca College on Saturday.
The women play Shepparton Youth Club at 2.45pm, needing a win to reduce the gap to league leader Mooroopna, the men are against Mooroopna earlier at 1pm, the River Rats still after their first win in that competition.
