Young golfers will have the chance to hit the fairways and learn new skills when Finley Golf Club’s School Holiday Golf Program, led by PGA professional Jody Fleming, tees off on Friday, July 17.
The program is open to children of all abilities and skill levels, with sessions for primary‑aged players from 10am to 11am and high school students from 11am to 12 pm.
A sausage sizzle and drink will follow at midday, before a mini game on the course at 12.30 pm.
Entry costs $10 per child, and all equipment will be provided.
The day promises plenty of fun, with various games and a golf simulator helping participants learn the basics in a relaxed, supportive environment.
It’s part of the MyGolf powered by Ripper GC initiative, Australia’s national junior golf program run by PGA Professionals and National Program Deliverers across the country.
Sessions are open to all ages and abilities, with programs available nationwide.
