Effigy floats

author avatar

The effigy of Federal Water Minister David Littleproud, created for a water rally in Tocumwal in September, has a long life. He was dumped over the Tocumwal Bridge and into the Murray River and has been travelling downstream since then. He was fished out of the river and taken for a drive around Nyah, north of Swan Hill, in particular to the Vinifera Forest where environmental watering has killed trees and is breeding healthy populations of carp and mozzies. He'll soon be tossed back into the river to continue his journey to the sea.
